of mankind and the peace of the world. Racial,
political--any kind of prejudice--is automatically out.

Nando’s de retour

La chaîne Nando’s, qui, il y a quelques années, s’était installée à Curepipe, sera de retour à l’île Maurice en décembre. C’est ce que le "Sunday Times" d’Afrique du Sud a annoncé dans son édition du dimanche 18 octobre.
Nando’s, là où se déguste le légendaire poulet grillé afro-portugais, va pimenter très bientôt l’univers du "fast food" mauricien
La chaîne Nando’s, qui vient d’entrer dans le classement annuel du magazine "Forbes" possède pas moins de 300 points de vente dans son pays d’origine, l’Afrique du Sud. A travers le monde la franchise Nando’s compte 550 restaurants dans 25 pays sur cinq continents.
Le retour de "Nando’s" à l’île Maurice signifie une compétition accrue au niveau du marché du poulet frit façon "fast food". Le marché est dominé par "Kentucky Fried Chicken" dont les activités à l’île Maurice ont repris après une interruption de dix jours suite à la découverte, par le ministère de la Santé, de salmonelle dans un de ses restaurants.
Ce qui fait que le poulet grillé de Nando’s est unique, c’est sa fameuse sauce Peri-Peri fabriquée à partir de piment oiseau et dont la recette reste secrète. Aujourd’hui, des millions de clients ont goûté à cette fameuse sauce Peri-Peri.
Chez Nando’s, les poulets sont toujours frais, jamais surgelés, ils s’imprègnent d’une marinade pendant 24h et sont cuits à point, à la flamme du grill.
